“What Does 69 Mean?” is the title of the new children of pop album. It was written / recorded / produced / engineered / mixed / mastered in Houston @ children of pop’s home, in what would be the area where people eat kind of near the kitchen aka the dining room but not as fancy as say a “Dining Room”. “What Does 69 Mean?”... hurts to be this engaged all the time. The lead single, “Manic”, was written for Drake but children of pop was too into the song so kept it. Some of the other songs were written for Solange, Beyonce, Madonna, blah blah blah … but they were too rad so children of pop kept all of them for this record. Aiden Kennedy of Wrestlers is featured on the album. Aiden performed synth bass on the final track, “Don’t Change For Love”, a quasi piano ballad / faux house tune. So there is all of that + the record is littered w shades of the Acid House.

about
“Don’t Change for Love” - it’s not worth it. Piano ballad tongue in cheek but also a bit chic but maybe more sheek? I really tried to sing on this song. Whatever that means. It also IMO makes the album an album (instead of like, an exercise on romance). Might be the only real song I have or will ever write that people remember for 100 years. Maybe more. Haha My friend Aidan Kennedy from Wrestlers came over and put in on the synth bass. Sounds so rad.
